The Year-One Pass

Your first year, on a plan.

Every line is sold on its own, and you can buy one or several. The Year-One Pass is the other way to work with us: all five lines, sequenced across your first twelve months, built by one team that stays the whole year. New owners hit the same problems in the same order. The Pass puts the fix on a calendar so you are not solving each one the week it hits.

Two ways to work with us

Buy a line. Or buy the year.

One line, or several

  • Pick the problem that hurts most
  • Each line scoped and priced on its own, $2,500 to $12,000
  • 2 to 8 weeks each
  • Start any time, buyer or seller

The Year-One Pass

  • All five lines, in the order year one breaks things
  • One team for twelve months, plus a monthly operator call
  • One price for the year
  • Two shops at a time, by application

$28,000 to $34,000 for the year

The sequence

Twelve months, in order.

  1. Before close

Early start, when the deal allows

we begin recording what the seller knows while they are still running the day

  2. Months 0 to 2

    Knowledge and Handoff

    before the seller's transition ends

  3. Months 1 to 3

Cash and Numbers, and Customers and Phones

so you can see the money and stop losing calls

  4. Months 3 to 7

    Crew and Field

after the crew has had its first three payrolls with you

  5. Months 6 to 12

    Build Bank

[X] hours of custom build for whatever year one taught you

  6. All year

    A monthly 60-minute operator call

not coaching, a second set of eyes on the numbers

Continuity

One team on both sides of the closing.

The hardest thing to buy in an acquisition is what the owner knows. The transition period is short, and everyone is busy during it. When we are brought in before the sale closes, we record that knowledge with the seller while they are still running the day, then stay with the new owner through the first year and build the tools on top of it. Nothing gets lost in the gap between two owners.

For the buyer

What the seller knows is written down before the transition period ends, and the people who recorded it are the ones building your systems in month six.

For the seller

The handoff goes the way you want it to. Your crew and your customers get a new owner who already knows how the place runs.

Timing and terms for a pre-close start are set in the walkthrough.

Price

$28,000 to $34,000 for the year

Billed in thirds as each phase starts.

For comparison, a fractional COO for a business this size runs $12K to $15K a month.

Who it is for

Buyers under LOI, closing in the next 90 days, or closed in the last six months. Two shops at a time, by application.

  • Holdcos: ask about a per-add-on price.
  • Sellers with a buyer lined up: the Pass can be written into the deal and start before close.

Ask if your shop qualifies.

Thirty minutes. Tell us where you are in the deal and what the shop looks like. We tell you whether the Pass fits, or which single line to start with.
