The team
Fiveline is a small team of operators. Between us we have led Marine infantry units, built early-stage companies, run operations inside a holding company’s newly acquired service businesses, and studied at Tuck strategies and techniques for digitizing legacy small businesses. What we share is this: each of us has taken over something someone else built and made it work with the people and systems that were already there.
That experience taught us that the people doing the work know things the org chart does not. In a service business, what matters lives with the senior tech, the dispatcher, and the person who has run the same route for twelve years. They do not hand it to a consultant in a polo shirt. They hand it to someone who rides along, asks the right questions, and does not waste their time. That is the part of this work we are best at, and it is why the tools we build get used.
Founder
Evan Blaskowski
As a Marine Corps infantry officer, Evan’s job was taking over a unit someone else built, learning the people fast, and making it work with what was there.
After the Marines, Evan started an AI-focused company, working with developers and software engineers who taught him many of the technical skills that Fiveline Solutions is based upon. While getting his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Evan began working with small businesses and holding companies to implement digital solutions for common operational problems. Evan has since recruited business experts, technical experts, and other like-minded individuals to Fiveline. All with the goal of helping legacy small businesses compete in the rapidly changing digital economy.
Most of what a small business needs is not a $50,000 software project. It is a partner to look at the problem from a different perspective, a few well-placed tools, and the buy-in from the crew to make the change. We build those tools ourselves, with the crew’s input, fast. Fiveline is the firm we wished existed: one that speaks trades and software, prices the work up front, builds instead of only advising, and leaves only when the job is done.
